Didn't like anything, except cigarette smoke

The sudden noise from the smoke detector left us feeling

shaken on our second night. The staff quickly moved us to another room, which was a relief given my dogs' ages. However, the lack of follow-up about the water issue was disappointing, making it hard to fully enjoy our stay.

Our stay was marred by a smoke detector malfunction and water leaking from the ceiling, forcing us to relocate in the middle of the night with our elderly dogs during harsh weather.

Friendly local recommendations made our trip enjoyable.

The room we received smelled overwhelmingly of smoke, even though it was labeled as a non-smoking room. The bedding was dirty, with strands of hair and crumbs that made us feel uncomfortable staying there. When we approached the front desk about this, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful, further compounding our frustration.

We had a pleasant stay with a cozy Standard King Room and an unexpected bonus of a lovely indoor pool that was perfect for relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and we also enjoyed unwinding on the sun loungers. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi was a little spotty in our room, but it didn't overshadow our time here! 😄

A Disappointing Experience

Unfortunately, my stay was riddled with problems. The bed was broken, there was no microwave, and the sink was clogged. I expected more for a 3-star motel. If you're looking for comfort, keep driving. Sallisaw's options are limited, so proceed with caution.

We enjoyed the indoor pool and the clean rooms felt like a home away from home. It's the best place for our family visits.

I loved how clean and comfortable my room felt, it truly felt like a home away from home! The indoor pool was such a fun and relaxing spot to unwind after a long day, especially with the kids running around. Plus, I can't emphasize how nice it was to enjoy hot coffee every morning to kickstart my day!

i recently stayed a couple of nights in sallisaw and the service here really exceeded my expectations. the friendly staff made check-in a breeze, and i loved the indoor pool after a long day. my room felt clean and comfortable which was a nice change from my previous experiences in other hotels.

coffee wasn't replenished each morning

The rooms were spacious enough for our large family, and the nearby Pam's Place provided a cozy spot for lunch. We enjoyed visiting Brushy Lake Park, which was perfect for the kids to run around and have some fun.

The floors were dirty and had seen better days. An overall deeper cleaning would really improve the experience for families with children.

Check-in took longer than expected. The clerk seemed confused about our Expedia payment. The room quality was inconsistent. The first room wasn’t clean. We found bugs. The bathroom door was broken, and the coffee pot had old coffee in it. However, the second room we received was decent and clean. The mattress was comfortable, and the location was quiet. Wi-Fi was spotty, only working close to the office. The staff were friendly and accommodating prior to our arrival, giving us a room upgrade due to concerns about bedbugs. Breakfast options were very limited, just coffee was available.
